Responsibilities and main tasks

The role as our Executive Client Relationship Manager involves driving new business opportunities and managing stakeholders within the issuance space.

Clients will be both financial institutions and corporate issuers. Other very important stakeholders in the process will be law firms, arranging banks and operational entities bringing issuances to market.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in capital raising processes and be highly skilled in building and maintaining client relationships. They must also be proactive in generating leads and identifying new business areas to ensure clients consider Euronext over established market competitors.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders within capital raising, ensuring that Euronext remains top of mind for future transactions.
  • Provide expert guidance on capital raising processes, with knowledge in Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), or related legal experience.

Lead Generation:

  • Identify and qualify new potential clients, within the Scandinavian market, using proactive outreach methods (Conferences, phone, email, LinkedIn).
  • Manage the lead pipeline, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings with potential clients – both solo and in cooperation with SMEs

Market Development:

  • As Euronext is a market challenger, proactively ensure that clients engage with Euronext for capital raising services instead of choosing previous partners.

To succeed in this role you will contribute to Euronext’s ambitious goal for growth, specifically by generating qualified leads, executing on issuance processes, and developing strong long-term client and stakeholder relationships. You will benefit from a strong background in capital raising processes, particularly in DCM or ECM, or legal expertise in these areas.

You will report to the Head of Sales within Issuance, and be part of a European team within Issuance and part of the European sales organization.

Experience: preferably 5-10 years in sales within finance or capital raising.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head our Issuance team of 4 dedicated product managers and product owners. In this role you and your team will work closely on the Convergence project for Issuance. You will ensure monthly billing and budget follow up as well as identifying pricing initiatives. In this role you will report to our Head of Issuance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Vision: Support your team in operationalizing the strategic vision and roadmap for our Issuance product portfolio, and in particular drive business development initiatives on issuance of all asset classes
  • P&L Development: Ensure the team contributes to P&L-driven business case development, balancing client needs and internal cost control.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Secure that the team members manage well the product lifecycle from conceptualization to delivery.
  • Budgeting: Budget for the topline of the Issuance product portfolio and recommend investment budgets.
  • Business Convergence: Ensure the teams contribution to business convergence projects and activities.
  • Product Development: Support the team members in overseeing the development of new products in collaboration with internal resources and stakeholders.
  • Competitor Analysis: Be on top of competitor analysis regarding Issuance product offerings, functionality, pricing, and market penetration.
  • Client Relations: Maintain and develop relationships with business development and client services to understand client needs and opportunities to increase market share.

Success Factors:

  • Manage the team and key stakeholders to support the delivery of our strategic ambitions for our Issuance products portfolio and convergence projects
  • Secure predictability for our customers on solutions and deliveries through timely communication and involvement.
  • Ensure that the products we launch comply with applicable legislation, and drive Issuance knowledge initiatives across all our CSD locations
  • Provide commercially strong business cases recommendations for new business initiatives/products/services.
  • Navigate a rapidly changing business landscape, staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Deliver recommendations that increase revenue and/or reduce costs.
  • Demonstrate proactiveness and agility in responding to emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • Learn and anchor important process knowledge

Profile and Skills:

  • International leadership experience preferably of a team of Business analysts and/or Product managers, engaged in building new product solutions, development, preferably in banking or financial infrastructure.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic awareness, structured and results driven.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills, with attention to detail and strategic perspective.
  • Ability to leverage relationships and drive forward projects autonomously.
  • Ability to manage a high workload well, with focus on priorities and deliverables for the team members.
  • Lead by example by displaying drive and energy.
  • Inclusive and team autonomy leadership mindset.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 3 years of higher education (extensive work experience may compensate for lack of education).
